This Privacy Policy describes how Verdi ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and shares your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").
Photos you take for plant identification. The App processes photos that you take or select from your device. These photos are sent to our cloud service and the Plant.id API for identification. They are not stored permanently on our servers and are deleted shortly after processing is complete.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, device ID, location, or any other personal information.
All image uploads between the App and our cloud service are transmitted over HTTPS encryption.
The App offers scan credits for purchase through Google Play's billing system. All purchase transactions are handled by Google Play and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store your payment information.
Your scan credit balance and collection progress are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain accounts or cloud storage of your data.
The App uses the following third-party services, which operate under their own privacy policies:
- Google Play Services (in-app billing)
- Cloudflare Workers + R2 (image processing and plant illustrations)
- Plant.id API (plant identification)
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated date.
